Howie Transport is a local, family-owned and operated company, providing local and interstate freight transport services - specialising in forklift carrying. Based in Archerfield, we care about providing a great working environment for our people and outstanding service to our customers.

About the role

Based at our new Archerfield depot, you'll undertake a range of tasks including: forklift operation; loading trucks/equipment; container unloading; general movement & storage within the yard; ensuring a clean & orderly warehouse and general warehouse duties. You'll ensure all activities are undertaken safely and provide support to other team members.

About you

• Previous experience in a similar warehouse role
• Forklift License
• Physically fit and healthy (lifting up to 20kg) - fitness is a job perk!
• Great communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as a team
• High regard for safety in the workplace
  
• Basic computer skills needed for inventory software
• Valid Australian working rights
