Role Overview:

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, processing, and dispatching products, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Processing Shipments: Unload delivery trucks, verify shipment contents, and ensure accurate receipt of goods.
• Picking and Packing Orders: Accurately pick products, pack them securely, and prepare them for shipment.
• Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, monitor stock levels, and assist in stock rotation.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe for all team members.
• Learning and Development: Allocate time for ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred - essential.
• Forklift experience:  Counter balance or walkie stacker forklift - essential
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills - desirable.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team - essential.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items as required - essential.
