Warehouse Assistant

Bunji Enterprises is an award-winning diverse business, specialising in coffee roasting, supply of specialty coffee and teas, workwear, and stationery. We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Assistant with a technical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills to join our growing team. 

About the position:

• Based at our Head Office located in Loganholme, with onsite parking. 
• Full time (38hrs), immediate start available.
• Responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, checking, receiving orders, general warehousing, operating forklifts and experienced working with, maintaining and fixing machinery.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pick, pack, wrap, label, load, ship).
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (unload, check, label, store).
• Keep a clean and safe working environment.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
• To carry out all activities in a manner that promotes safety to yourself and your colleagues.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the role

• Picking, packing and dispatching of customer orders.
• Forklift operation.
• Unloading & Loading Trucks.
• Stock Organisation.
• Ensure machinery functions optimally and is well maintained.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of warehouse.
• Stock control process including stock takes, shelf stock replenishment and stock rotation.
• Operate forklift truck.
• Report on stock levels and product availability.
• Quality control goods in and out.
• Monitor and report on own activity.
• Perform additional tasks as and when required.
• Comply with Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.

About you

• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous experience in a similar Warehouse all-rounder role.
• A technical mindset and experience maintaining and fixing machinery would give you a strong advantage over other applicants.

To be successful you'll need some or all of the following:

• Have excellent problem-solving skills.
• Valid forklift licence or the motivation to get one.
• 3 years’ experience in Warehousing Or 3 years of Receiving & Dispatch experience.
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritise conflicting workloads.
• Ability to fulfil manual work requirements of picking and packing of order and placement of stock in locations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Be confident working with machinery and experience fixing machinery.

For this position it will be necessary for you to have a current forklift ticket and drivers' license.
