Workshop & Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a Workshop and Logistics Coordinator in our Darra workshop.

You’ll enjoy a bit of hard yakka and not be afraid of getting your hands dirty. 

You will like the idea of working with rubber and steel machine parts, driving forklifts, indoors and outdoors, unloading containers, stacking pallets, fitting parts to machines and doing the occasional site delivery.

Above all, you will have a passion for helping people and putting a smile on customer’s faces.

The Role

You will assist the team to fulfill customer orders quickly and accurately.

Some of the tasks you will perform include:

• Picking and packing goods for dispatch, by forklift and manual handling
• Processing customer orders and booking freight electronically
• Unloading containers, receipt incoming goods, package, and label them for storage
• Using workshop tools to fit replacement parts to customers’ machines
• Carrying out occasional deliveries and onsite fitting jobs
• Maintaining a clean warehouse
• Maintaining all tools and equipment
• Assist with regular stocktakes

You will:

• Enjoy hard work, heavy lifting and don’t mind getting your hands dirty
• Have an interest in machines, like working with big, heavy rubber & steel machine parts
• Love to help customers
• Have a growth mindset, desire to continuously improve yourself and thing around you

You will be:

• An accurate and tidy person with good attention to detail
• Steady but flexible, able to switch between different tasks as required
• Collaborative and friendly, always willing to supports others to achieve team goals

You will have:

• A good level physical fitness
• A valid forklift license
• Basic computer skills.
