Warehouse Operations & Logistics Lead - Urgent

This organisation, founded on circular economy practices solves the problem of households harbouring their gas cylinders! With milk-man style delivery structure, this business is quickly expanding business operations to include a national reach.

THE ROLE
The Operations & Logistics Lead will scale the internal last-mile delivery service to enhance the customer experience. Joining a small team, the role offers significant growth potential as the business expands geographically and with new products.
Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Scale the last-mile delivery service in different cities. Optimise logistics for scalability, cost savings, and manage delivery driver hiring.
• Work with the founder to improve customer experience. Handle warehouse/inventory planning to meet demand and provide support for delivery issues.
• Find ways to streamline operations. Use data-driven solutions and innovative approaches to improve service quality.
• Align operational plans with company goals. Grow the business through effective resource management and capacity planning across teams.

ABOUT YOU:

• Previous experience in a similar operational role within multi-stop residential delivery logistics, FMCG, eCommerce or 3PL.
• Passionate about environmentally friendly service and exceptional customer experience.
• Adaptable to changing environments and ability to take on diverse tasks with a solutions-focused approach. Skilled in using business analytics and order/inventory software to optimise operations.
• Strong people skills to build lasting customer relationships. Ability to listen actively and communicate clearly to address unique needs.
