The Role

We have an opportunity for a full-time, warehouse store person with a current forklift license to join our team at our distribution warehouse located at Darra, QLD. Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, you may be responsible for goods inwards, despatch, picking, packing and distributing orders.

Hours of operation: 6:00 am - 2:06 pm (Mon-Fri)

Tasks

• Coordinate the unloading, storage, handling, issue and recording of stock
• Monitor Inventory levels and advise any anomalies
• Monitor consumable and request purchase orders to be raised as required
• Ensure the safe/secure storage of all materials
• Operate a forklift
• Prepare packaging and shipping material
• Participate in stock takes
• Maintain the warehouse in an organised manner
• Adhere to all Chain of Responsibility requirements under NHVS regulations
• Adhere to all WHSE policies and procedures

Skills and Abilities

To be successful in this role, you must:

• have full Australian work rights
• hold a current forklift license (LF)
• have a minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse environment
• thrive in a team culture
• have the ability to accurately read, count and pick
• be able to demonstrate good communication skills
• be able to demonstrate Intermediate computer skills

Holding a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations would be an advantage, but not essential.
