Warehouse Storeperson - Hiring Urgently

AusPress is a leading national manufacturing and distribution company involved in the plumbing, construction, mining, marine and industrial sectors. Specialising in the supply of piping systems for water in and water out, we have a diverse range of manufactured and imported products.

Due to ongoing growth and customer demand, we have recently opened a new warehouse and distribution centre in Perth, Western Australia. We are seeking the services of an experienced Warehouse operator to help us manage the open and lead our WA operations. The right candidate will have a “can do” attitude and be responsible for all warehousing functions and critical in implementing our current proven national systems and procedures while using your previous warehouse skills to offer advice and guidance in developing new efficiencies for the betterment of the organisation.

Suitable applicants must have previous experience in a Warehousing environment.

The role is varied with duties including but not limited to:

• Receiving of orders
• Picking, packing and dispatching of orders with accuracy
• Forklift operation
• Conducting regular stock takes
• Processing transactions through the warehouse software system
• Ensure appropriate records are entered correctly
• Maintaining a clean and safe work place

To be successful you will have:

• Current forklift license is essential
• Current and blemish free drivers licence
• Motivation, drive and enthusiasm
• Demonstrable experience in receiving, pick, pack, dispatch and stock takes
• Good written and verbal English is essential
• Be willing and able to work independantly and as part of a team
• Work closely with our national procurement and inventory officers
• Experience with warehouse software
