Warehouse Supervisor - Collaborative Environment

Kirby HVAC&R is a leader in the Australian refrigeration & HVAC industry. As a leading HVACR wholesaler, we support our customers with their air-conditioning and commercial and industrial refrigeration needs. 

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join our team located at Wingfield. Responsible for the coordination of the Warehouse, driving continuous improvement initiatives and effectively maintaining efficient warehouse operations and delivering excellent service to our internal and external customers.

About your new role?

This is a hands-on role, providing the opportunity to obtain a secure, full-time, Monday to Friday position with a company that values its employees, offers a supportive working environment, and has a genuine desire to see our people succeed.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the safe and efficient day-to-day operations of the Warehouse, ensuring high levels of productivity, accuracy and stock management compliance
• Ensure the safe storage of stock in line with OH&S requirements
• Ensure stock is managed in accordance with the relevant company procedures and stock maintenance requirements
• Ensure stock takes are conducted in an accurate manner and in line with set schedules 
• Ensure customers’ orders and replenishments orders and completed and dispatched on time.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse
• Assist branch staff as required;
• Coach, guide and supervise other team members as required.

What will make you successful?

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

• A current drivers licence and forklift licence
• Ability to maintain safe working environments for yourself, your team members and customers;
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and staff to ensure our customer's expectations are met or exceeded;
• Previous experience in leading and supervising others would be highly regarded;
• Previous warehousing experience
