About the Role

Are you passionate about life on the water and thrive in a leadership role, this is your chance to make your mark in one of Australia's most spectacular island destinations. We need a superstar to live on island and lead the day-to-day operation of our marina and water sports offering, overseeing everything from marina berthing and vessel operations to private charters, motorised water sports and relationships with external tour operators.

You'll be responsible for inspiring incredible moments that showcase the very best of Hayman Island, ensuring every guest interaction is seamless, safe, and unforgettable. Leading a dedicated team, you'll drive operational excellence, champion safety and compliance, identify opportunities to grow revenue, and continuously enhance the resort's marine experiences. With a strong focus on sustainability, collaboration, and service, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences both on and off the water. 

Salary $95,000.00 + super

What you’ll bring

• Master 24 and Med 2 Qualifications as well as CPR and First Aid are a must.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Physical ability to engage in outdoor and marine activities as required.
• Demonstrated expertise at a senior level in Water Sports and Marine Operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for guest interaction and team collaboration.
• Understanding of safety standards and procedures in marine and recreational activities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Financial acumen with budget management experience.
• Passion for outdoor activities, sustainability, and guest satisfaction.
