Job Description

Nestled in the breathtaking Snowy Mountains, Oaks Lake Crackenback Resort is a truly unique destination for weddings, conferences, and memorable events. Surrounded by pristine alpine scenery, with luxury accommodation, gourmet dining, and endless outdoor adventures at your doorstep, it’s the perfect backdrop for moments that matter.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Weddings, Conference & Events Coordinator to help our guests celebrate life’s biggest milestones in this spectacular setting.

About the Role

In this exciting and varied role, you’ll take ownership of the entire event journey from first enquiry to flawless execution. Whether it’s an intimate mountain wedding, a corporate retreat, or a grand celebration, you’ll craft personalised experiences that exceed expectations and showcase everything our unique resort has to offer.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate, sell and deliver unforgettable weddings, conferences, retreats, and social events
  • Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure every event runs seamlessly
  • Proactively grow business through networking, cold calling, site visits, and industry events
  • Tailor creative proposals and packages that highlight our resort’s stunning location and premium facilities
  • Be the warm, welcoming face for our clients from planning through to on-the-day coordination
  • Represent Oaks Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa at wedding expos and local community events

Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating weddings, events or conferences in hospitality or tourism
  • A passion for outstanding guest service and creating memorable moments
  • Confidence in sales and relationship building
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work around event schedules, including weekends
