Job Purpose
and Impact
The purpose of this position is to operate and maintain Weighbridge and Oil Terminal in an organised and efficient manner and accurately complete production records. As well as operate machinery you will conduct preventative and repair maintenance tasks as well as improvement activities. Interaction and effective communication with other production staff, truck drivers and supervisors.
Position is available to either trade or non-trade General coverage of weighbridge and Oil terminal, this including annual leave RDO and sick leave, also utilised for training coverage. Assisting with weighbridge / oil terminal fatigue management coverage Weighbridge zero speed checks – assistant with zero speed checks for seed receival and meal load out. Confined space – assisting with tank cleaning if standby person required.
Key Accountabilities
Oil terminal responsibilities
Recording and dipping of tanks, calculating transfer amount and cutting off tanks for vessels. Complete pre shipping checks before vessels arrive Tank transfers -Transferring different oil products to crush / refinery and operating the pig system. Working shift work to suit vessel requirements or transfer requirements between terminal and plant Weighbridge responsibilities
Weighing and documentation of all site vehicles. Familiar with the bailey, delta V and weigh master computer systems. Inspection of incoming meal trucks for cleanliness and seals being intact on oil trucks. Sampling and testing of incoming seed trucks (GM testing, density and moisture) Liaise with all departments regarding truck movements (inc. CASC Supply Chain Teams) Induction of new truck drivers (inducting as required) and ensuring drivers are complying to site safety and PPE standards
Loadout Operator Responsibilities
Operate all equipment associated with tanker truck loading and unloading. Inspection of incoming trucks for cleanliness and seals being intact on oil trucks. Gather Samples and complete master sanitation schedule checklists and tasks to maintain food safety requirements.

Must have strong troubleshooting skills. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have very good time management skills. Must be able to prioritise tasks and follow up skills. Must be willing to accept accountability. Must be computer literate including being able to enter and retrieve data accurately. Must have demonstrated high performance (work performance, attendance record, safety record).
