Are you an experienced Work Health and Safety professional with a passion for supporting and developing effective WHS systems?  This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise within a diverse and complex organisation.

The Role:

We have a full-time, permanent opportunity for a WHS Systems Business Partner to join our team based in Perth’s CBD, WA.

You will provide specialist support and development of the Harvest Road Group Safety Management System and associated trainings.

Working closely with the Principal WHS Manager and WHS team you will ensure successful consultation and implementation of the approved aligned WHS pro

cedures and processes and necessary training processes.  This role also encompasses injury management processes to support the corporate, agriculture and aquaculture businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Principal WHS Manager in development of procedures and processes to enable WHS compliance and best practices across Harvest Road Group Divisions in alignment with agreed HRG WHS Framework.
• Facilitate consultation process for group level WHS system documentation.
• Develop and drive implementation process within the operational Business Divisions with the site based operational team.
• Review operational practices currently in place and provide guidance and direction to ensure a consistent application of the group procedures.
• Assist in operational safety matters and recommend practical solutions in line with the Harvest Road operating models and associated legislation.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Harvest Road Group Safety software platform.

About You:

• Hold a Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety.
• Previous experience in a similar systems development role working across multiple companies and locations.
• 5+ years of experience in an operational Safety role.
• Excellent understanding of Work Health and Safety Systems models.
• Strong procedural writing and editing skills.
• Demonstrated experience in injury management processes, working with medical providers, vocational rehab providers and remote injured workers.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of database development.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to conduct consultation at both corporate and operational levels.
• Experience in managing multiple priorities and WHS projects.
