Women Bus Driver Traineeship - Women up front!

Australia and New Zealand’s biggest and greenest bus operator, Kinetic, is looking for female trainee bus drivers. Not a bus driver, you say? Not yet, we say! All you need is a car drivers licence and a positive attitude and we’ll handle the rest.

Our Women Up Front Trainee Bus Driver program offers you the support and training you need to become a licensed and confident bus driver. This includes:

• A friendly and supportive environment
• An extensive induction training program with a mix of classroom and on-road training
• Lessons to obtain a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence
• A 12 month training program (Mix of classroom and on the job training) to gain a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Driving Operations - Bus)
• Industry leading pay throughout your training!
• You will be assigned a Buddy throughout the training process to support your development!

We have got roles available across our below depots (please note that certain depots may have limited or no vacancies):

• North Fitzroy
• Doncaster
• Sunshine West
• Thomastown
• Keysborough
• Heatherton

We’re after people with:

• Excellent customer service skills and who enjoy working with people
• A current Australian Car driver’s licence (full licence held for at least 2 years)
• Ability to pass a pre‐employment functional, drug and alcohol clearance
• Ability to obtain a Driver Accreditation and Working With Children Check
• Hold Australian work rights (Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen)
