We’re now hiring a Workplace Health & Safety Manager—a new role designed to elevate our corporate WHS strategy, support operational safety teams, and drive meaningful, sustainable outcomes.

About the Role

This newly created position is a long-term investment in our safety leadership. Reporting to the Head of People, with a dotted line to the COO, you’ll align WHS strategy with operational excellence—bridging compliance and culture.

This is not a desk-only role. You’ll be active in the field—partnering with WHS Advisors, leaders, and operational teams to build health and safety confidence, consistency, and care into every part of the employee experience.

This role calls for a seasoned WHS Manager, not someone seeking their first step into leadership. You’ll have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management-level role, along with at least 8 years of overall WHS experience.

What You’ll Be Accountable For

• Advising on group-wide WHS strategy, governance, and risk oversight
• Providing expert guidance on legislation, compliance systems, and audit readiness
• Partnering with WHS Advisors on policy development and strategic alignment
• Embedding health, wellbeing, and psychological safety into our culture
• Strengthening WHS capability in leaders and frontline teams

What We’re Looking For

You’re a qualified WHS leader who blends technical expertise with emotional intelligence. You know that compliance and culture go hand in hand—and you’re ready to shape both. You bring:

• A passion for safety, wellbeing, and practical, people-first leadership
• A Bachelor’s degree in WHS (or equivalent)
• Certified Work Health & Safety Professional (Certificate IV/Diploma in WHS, Lead Auditor in WHS Management Systems, ICAM Investigation Training).
• 8+ years’ WHS experience in the Logistics and Transportation Industry
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a management-level role
• Strong understanding of Heavy Vehicle legislation
