Workshop Supervisor

WesTrac is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our Rebuilds Execution Team in Welshpool. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for driving safety, productivity, quality, and team performance while delivering outstanding outcomes for our customers.

Working closely with the Senior Supervisor, you'll lead a skilled team of tradespeople and contractors, helping shape a high-performing culture where people can thrive and perform at their best.

Roster:  8 Days 6 Off 7 Nights 7 Off 12 hours (Additional Hours Allowance & Shift Allowance)

Location: Welshpool, WA

What you’ll do:

• Leading and supporting the Rebuilds Execution Team to achieve operational targets


• Managing work orders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery


• Ensuring compliance with Caterpillar, customer and company standards


• Driving a strong safety culture through coaching, training and accountability


• Coordinating labour, resources and task allocation across the workshop


• Monitoring productivity, quality and workflow performance


• Building a collaborative and engaged team environment


• Managing tradespeople, support personnel and contractors

Skills and Experience:

• HD Mechanical Trade Qualification


• Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a mining, construction or heavy equipment environment


• Strong people leadership, coaching and conflict resolution skills


• Demonstrated ability to organise teams, prioritise workloads and drive performance


• Proven experience managing machine rebuilds, maintenance programs or fleet management activities


• Excellent planning, communication and organisational skills
