Workshop Technician - Innovative Company

NLT Digital has multiple positions for Workshop Technicians. This is a Workshop based role in Caboolture, QLD. 

The role is responsible for manufacturing, conducting repairs, testing and certifying. In particular, this role will also require the person to be qualified and trained in EEHA principles and then signed off as a Responsible Person, to conduct repairs on explosion proof and intrinsically safe hardware.

Responsibilities:

• Assembly, Manufacturing and Testing of NLT Digital products.
• Inspect, Maintain and Repair of NLT Digital products.
• Documentation review and modification as required.
• Maintain a Clean Workspace and Workshop.
• Build, test and certify electrical products.
• Troubleshoot and overhaul electrical equipment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Relevant experience in core industries (preferred)
• Familiar with AS3800/MP87.2 standards (preferred)
• Understanding of Electrical standards.
• Understanding of electronics and assembly would be an asset.
• Must be physically fit and capable of performing these tasks safely. 
• Must be committed to safe work methods and focused on job safety.
• Must have sound skills in communication (written and verbal).
• Must have sound soldering skills.
• Must have sound computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, without direct supervision.
• Good with hands-on work and use of tools.
