Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Financial Accounting Team through the delivery of accurate and timely financial information across Liebherr-Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Managing fixed asset accounting, including capitalisations, transfers, disposals and depreciation
- Maintaining accurate data within the Fixed Asset Management system
- Reconciling fixed asset records to the general ledger
- Assisting with bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting supplier master data maintenance and verification
- Assisting with internal and external audit requirements
- Supporting year-end financial and sustainability reporting activities
- Working collaboratively with finance teams and stakeholders across the business
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance function
Skills & Experience:
- A degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business (Accounting major), or be in your final year of study
- Eligibility to commence or complete a CPA or CA qualification
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
