The Product Support Advisor (PSA) is responsible for the provision of high level technical support to Customers on site and as required.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the on-site technical expert, providing high-level support and advice to customers on Liebherr mining equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues to maximise machine performance and minimise downtime.
- Work closely with Liebherr’s Technical support departments to facilitate the timely resolution of technical, system and component faults and failures.
- Build strong customer relationships by delivering practical solutions, technical guidance and exceptional service on site.
- Mentor apprentices, tradespeople and maintenance teams while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across our operations.
Skills & Experience:
- Relevant trade qualification in Mobile Plant, Diesel Fitting, Mechanical, Fabrication, Auto Electrical or High Voltage Electrical, with strong experience supporting mining equipment in the field.
- Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems, delivering safe and effective solutions in demanding site environments.
- Strong technical capability with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals and specifications, and provide practical recommendations to customers and maintenance teams.
- A customer-focused approach, with the confidence to build relationships, mentor others, share technical knowledge and represent Liebherr professionally on site.
- The ability to provide accurate and timely advice.
- Attention to detail when providing feedback / reports to internal stakeholders or the customer.
