Job Description

Embark on a rewarding career where you play a pivotal role in preserving SGS's proficiency in analyzing soil, water, and air. As a permanent full time member of our Environmental team based in Perth Airport, your primary responsibility will be to assist management in conducting routine analyses, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and timely laboratory results. 

The responsibilities though not limited to, will include:

• Undertake routine preparations and analysis of soil and water samples.
• Ensure equipment and laboratory is kept clean to avoid contamination.
• Carry out scheduled instrument calibration and maintenance in accordance with written procedures.
• Understand and adapt general laboratory QA/QC criteria and NATA accreditation requirements.
• Perform other duties as directed by your Supervisor.
• Maintain and update skills,

  qualifications

  and knowledge through internal, external and on-the-job training/courses to support continuous development and improvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Science or Chemistry.
• Previous experience working within a laboratory environment (Environmental laboratory preferred).
• Flexibility with working hours and tasks
