The role is part of the Commercial & Personal Injury Data and Analytics team who are responsible for delivering data, analytics, and reporting requirements of Commercial and Personal Injury business. The team also acts a subject matter expert when it comes to data and analytics for Commercial and Personal Injury business. The purpose of the Specialist Commercial Analytics role is to support the Commercial and Personal Injury business with all of its Data, Analytics, & Reporting requirements along with using sophisticated data analysis and modelling techniques, cognitive computing and artificial intelligence, and business acumen to discover insights that will guide business decisions and uncover business opportunities. What You’ll Do (not Limited To)

• Work with Senior specialist to develop, recommend and implement portfolio solutions to achieve financial and non-financial business objectives
• Apply thorough understanding of the insurance data assets to extract and manipulate data for business analysis purpose
• Use state-of-art internal Modelling Infrastructure to develop and enhance statistical and machine learning predictive models to predict business performance and customer behaviour
• In conjunction with C&PI Portfolio teams and using your advance analytics skills assist the teams in the design, build, and maintenance of portfolio and Intermediated distribution self-serve analytics
• Collaborate with the Portfolios on providing information to assist plan, deliver and monitor business initiatives, Analyse portfolio profiles and performance to assist in making necessary decisions.
  

What You Will Bring

• Minimum 5 years relevant analytical experience in insurance or financial industry
• Demonstrated Knowledge and experience within complex analytics and modelling project.
• Programming skills in SAS, Python, SQL, R, or similar
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong technical academic background
• Ability to develop, foster and leverage key relationships.
