The Role: We are seeking a experienced Full Time Control Room Operator who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills and are passionate about the security industry with a strong desire to make a difference.This position is to commence ASAP andis paid based on Security Service Award,Grade 4. Weekend Penalty rates apply! You will be responsible for providing security service at our premiere retail site: Melbourne Central ShoppingCentre, supporting all the establishments' tenants, guests and visitors. Services include but are not limited to; building key tenant familiarization and relationships, managing access, responding in a timely manner to client requests, ensuring the safety and security for the site, managing emergency situations and demonstrated pro-active security awareness. please be advised this role requires Full Working Rights In Australia. Work hours are as follows: ROTATING ROSTER Week 1: Wednesdays to Saturdays - Night Shift Week 2: Thursdays to Sunday - Day shift Key Responsibilities: Assess and respond to situations of risk or hazard. Access control and monitoring CCTV, Alarm systems Incident report writing and data logs. Site safety and monitoring Interact with various stakeholders including client representatives, building and facilities management, contractors, emergency services, employees, and the general public. Monitor Access control, alarm control, and CCTV to detect any security breaches or incidents. Risk identification, incident response, and issue resolution. Incident report writing and data logs. To be considered for an opportunity with Assetlink Services, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience & appropriate certification within the following areas: Current VIC Security License including Monitoring Current First Aid certificate including CPR Impeccable presentation Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including days & nights. Great communication skills both verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel Experience in Milestone CCTV system an advantage. Proficient in the use of BMS & EWIS systems. Retail environment experience is essential. Ability to work as part of a team.
