About the role
In this role you will report into the Head of Operations your key focus will be to work with a group of suppliers to ensure online store availability. This role is charged with driving end to end optimisation of supply chain by identifying and delivering efficiencies and cost reduction.
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will have the opportunity to develop innovative solutions to tackle on supply chain challenges across planning, sourcing and fulfilment. You will support planning, execution, and improvement of promotions, events and ranging decisions. This includes ensuring the effective delivery of end-to-end (supplier to end consumer) execution and delivery of inventory requirements (DIFOT, working capital) while concurrently managing efficiently (lowest landed cost)
You will be responsible for category portfolio forecasts by determining, reviewing and adjusting baseline, promotion and event forecasts. Managing day to day supply in line with current business expectations for availability (DIFOT), waste, and stock cover (WC) Monitor inventory levels and ensure working capital is optimised.
You will be required to manage category portfolio forecasts by reviewing and adjusting demand plans and forecast for impacts of term attributes, such as seasonality or trends, and advanced forecasts. You will be required to promote and achieve Supply Chain strategy by delivering optimal forecast accuracy which translates to supply chain velocity and improved shelf life of products
A key requirement for this role is sales forecasting experience and strong numeric and financial skills.
