Peninsula Hot Springs is a multi-award winning and iconic Australian geothermal mineral springs and wellness destination. 

Located on the serene Mornington Peninsula only a 90-minute drive from Melbourne, our expansive wellness spa is nestled amongst the natural landscape, offering a range of unique, balanced and luxurious treatments to help our guests relax and reconnect with the deep well of the being in nature.

About the role

This role is responsible for delivering and leading high-quality wellness activities for our guests including guided body clay workshops, bathing rituals, hot and cold immersion therapies (fire and ice), mind body classes and more. Through these sessions, you will educate, inspire, and nurture guests as you deliver true wellness experiences providing an unparalleled level of service.

To succeed in this role, you are a wellness professional with a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. Ideally you will be trained in facilitating group experiences as an instructor or coach in an area of wellness such as yoga, meditation, nutrition, pilates, personal training or outdoor education. Confidence and passion teamed with excellent communication skills and knowledge of contemporary and creative wellness practices will further contribute to your success.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver safe, high-quality wellness experiences
• Envelop guests in a true wellness experience providing unparalleled levels of service
• Educate, inspire and nurture guests in mind body classes and wellness workshops
• Oversee guest experience surrounding wellness activities and experiences
• Solve problems and providing timely assistance
• Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure PHS’ reputation as a place of cultural and heritage significance is protected and enhanced

Essential skills & experience:

• Experience in guest service, group facilitation and workshops or relevant role
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• High level of health, fitness and endurance
• Professional and confident with a great deal of patience  
• Qualifications in either pilates, yoga, contract therapies, sports science, physiotherapy, nutrition, naturopathy, personal training, recreation or outdoor education
