Job Description - Account Director

The Account Director is responsible for working directly with key customers to enhance their overall experience with HireRight with a focus on retaining customers, optimizing our products and services experience within their accounts and to grow the client account revenue through coverage expansion & new products. Account Director will primarily manage enterprise level customers, Responsibility for overall responsibility for managing the customer relationship (communications, expectations, key stakeholder relationships sponsorship, governance) while working with global account management teams across the regions.

  • To develop, manage and enhance, new and existing client relationships to ensure client retention, revenue and growth/upsell within the assigned accounts portfolio.
  • Understand all Service Level Agreements and pricing models
  • To review and understand all client contracts and any addendums
  • To identify and deliver efficiencies in current products and services and project manage changes to your clients.
  • To act as point of escalation for all client queries
  • Attend regular face to face client meetings to review service levels and to identify program improvements and revenue opportunities.
  • To increase profitability and revenue of client base
  • Work closely with the internal Account Management teams and Service Delivery Teams to ensure high standards of client service are met and maintained.
  • Contribute to client meetings and ensure that agreed actions are carried out and documented
  • Communicate SLA changes to Service Delivery Teams
  • To develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders internationally
  • To facilitate the On-boarding Process for new clients by working with key stakeholders across the business, such as Operations, Sales, IT & Implementation
  • To project manage specific projects as identified by senior management or overall business strategy.
  • Supporting Senior Management with ad-hoc client relation projects both strategic and operational. These projects will include Domestic and International elements
  • On-going Research into other services that can be incorporated and offered to our clients
  • To continually evaluate and improve the effectiveness of current products and services by production of meaningful management information.
  • To identify areas for improvement and to project management changes by working with key stakeholders and roll out to all clients.
  • To undertake other duties as may be specified from time to time by your line Manager.
  • Possesses a Bachelor Degree in Business with a minimum of 8-12 years relevant account management experience. BGV industry experience preferred but not a must.
  • Equipped with commercial awareness skills to understand market trends and what is happening in the market
  • Strong communication skills to communicate with all levels of management with diplomacy, tact and discretion.
  • Ability to demonstrate influencing skills to implement new ideas and upsell with existing client base.
  • Ability to project manage and meet deadlines; priorities, multitask and manage own and others time effectively
  • Identifies ideas and opportunities and makes them happen
  • Good Computer Literacy including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Ability to travel to meet client needs where necessary.
