Bar Attendant

We are looking for a enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team at The Boatrowers Hotel. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy creating memorable experiences for guests, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• TAB and KENO Compliance Training preferred.
• Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) Certificate is required.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to patrons by greeting them warmly and attending to their needs or as we like to say ‘Make people’s day’.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bar and gaming areas, including wiping down surfaces and restocking supplies.
• Promote special offers, events, and promotions to patrons, and upsell additional items to enhance their experience.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
• Assist patrons with gaming machines, explaining rules and providing guidance as needed.
• Handle cash transactions for gaming credits accurately and securely.
• Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol, responsible service practices, and health and safety protocols.
