Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- TAB and KENO Compliance Training preferred.
- Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) Certificate is required.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patrons by greeting them warmly and attending to their needs or as we like to say ‘Make people’s day’.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bar and gaming areas, including wiping down surfaces and restocking supplies.
- Promote special offers, events, and promotions to patrons, and upsell additional items to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
- Assist patrons with gaming machines, explaining rules and providing guidance as needed.
- Handle cash transactions for gaming credits accurately and securely.
- Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol, responsible service practices, and health and safety protocols.
