The Westin and Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane are hiring a Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing to develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed goals to proactively drive revenue results across both hotels. About the Role Reporting to the Cluster General Manager, you will be an innovative, decisive and inspiring leader. You will establish a superior approach to sales generation and market positioning, whilst challenging and encouraging innovation. You will develop and implement strategic Sales & Marketing strategies through critical thinking ensuring they are consistent with the dynamic needs and goals of the properties.  Work collaboratively with the Cluster Revenue team to ensure ongoing research and analysis of product, price, and performance metrics to drive above market performance through identification of opportunities Active participation in budgeting, forecasting, sales presentations and client meetings Driving sales for MICE, corporate, group and leisure markets to achieve the hotels budget performance Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients, negotiating contracts and agreements Analyse market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth and innovation Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and maximize profitability Dry cleaning of work clothes Discounts on hotel rooms including all properties within the Marriott International group, for you and your family & friends The best hotel training opportunities produced independently by the Westin Brisbane and internationally recognised training programs by Marriott International Discounts on food & beverage across all our hotels Recognition programs to keep you motivated Wellbeing & mindfulness programs to ensure you stay healthy Employee Assistance Program ‘Great places to work’ certified Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
