About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our organization as a Single Site Manufacturing IT Manager. 

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all IT-related activities at our manufacturing facility including on-floor technology systems as well as networks and servers that support our manufacturing operations.

YOUR RESPONSILBITIES

  • The overseeing and managing all IT-related activities at our manufacturing facility. This includes on-floor technology systems as well as networks and servers that support our manufacturing operations.
  • Implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of on-floor technology systems, such as production monitoring systems, automated equipment, and data collection devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand manufacturing processes and requirements, ensure that on-floor technology solutions align with operational needs.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to on-floor staff, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL 

You will bring with you:

  • Proven experience in managing on-floor technology systems within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, servers, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and systems, such as SCADA, MES, and ERP.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Understanding of data security principles and best practices.
  • Experience implementing ITIL and ITSM frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Qualifications required:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology preferred.
  • Prior Experience in similar role with certification considered.
