The business continues to gain significant momentum of more recent times in the Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) market delivering true innovation and market leading products with EGO Power Plus - the industry’s first 56V Lithium-Ion Battery Outdoor Power Equipment are seeking a committed National Sales Manager with a successful track record in sales growth and relationship management within both the Hardware and Specialists retail OPE & Power Tool industry. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful applicant will play a vital role in further developing National Accounts in both Australia and New Zealand by providing best class execution to drive sales, growth and brand awareness. Your role will extend in managing a national sales team and developing internal and external sales & marketing strategies to drive new business and new opportunities. Your primary objectives are; Achieve and exceed Chervon’s ANZ sales and growth targets within the stated channelsDevelop new channel opportunities to further drive business, brand and market share Drive sustainable growth through the development and execution of strategic plansEffective initiation and implementation of Sales & Marketing promotional programsMotivate and drive the national sales team for territory expansion and growthKey functions of responsibility will include;Develop and implement effective sales strategies via Business & 3 Year Strategic PlansUsing strategic selling skills and retail metrics knowledge to drive successful resultsEnsuring territory plans and service levels are operating at the highest standard in the industryHaving total ownership and responsibility for each national account - gaining distribution, core range implementation and maintenance, whilst delivering and executing sales & marketing strategies.Business networking and channel strategiesIdentifying and developing new business strategiesDevelop creative sales technique and tactics to meet business goals.Coordinate with management to develop sales plan, budget and scheduleLiaise with Marketing to develop incremental sales opportunities & growthREQUIRED EXPERIENCEPreferred Tertiary Qualifications in an appropriate discipline together with a proven record of sales and marketing experience.Financial Planning and Sales StrategiesMarketing Concepts & PositioningCompetitive AnalysisAble to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of the customer and their agendaAbility to negotiate Trading Terms and AgreementsClient RelationshipsDirect experience in business development Knowledge of import compliance and logistics an advantage but not a specific requirementON OFFERTo be part of an evolving business driving innovation& industry leading productsAttractive base remuneration + Bonus + Car Allowance + Super + Business ToolsFriday Work from Home optionThe ideal candidate for this key role will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of Key National Account & Marketing Management within the Hardware/ Specialist OPE/ Power Tool retail sector.Essential attributes include planning and organisation skills, business acumen, IT proficiency and an energetic, self-motivated, positive and professional individual displaying initiative to complete a variety of return for excellence, the successful person will be offered an attractive package including base salary, car allowance and an incentive scheme that recognises achievement.
