Sales Manager Sunshine Coast GWM

Sunshine Coast GWM is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join the team. An internal promotion has led to this exciting opportunity. The GWM brand is one of the fastest-growing automotive brands in Australia, and, with more exciting new model releases this year we are seeking a motivated and driven Sales Manager to join the team.

As the Sales Manager at Sunshine Coast GWM, you are part of the Pacific Gympie Dealership Group. We have been family-owned and operating for over 20 years and employ over 80 Sunshine Coast and Gympie locals. We sell brands such as GWM, Isuzu, Hyundai, Honda, Mitsubishi and Goodyear and, we are committed to long-term employee retention, a family-friendly work environment, a 5-day work week and a great team-based culture.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Automotive sales experience is essential.
• Previous experience in a management role or a senior sales role will be highly regarded.
• Hold a valid and current driver’s license.
• Strong understanding of the importance of an exceptional customer service experience.
• A high degree of professionalism and a friendly and positive demeanour.
• The proven ability to achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills
• Someone passionate about all things automotive and a great CAN-DO ATTITUDE!
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide an exceptional customer experience and be a valued team member.

Your responsibilities will include:

• The day-to-day running of the Sales Team
• Motivate, drive and train the sales team.
• Achieve and exceed volume and profitability targets
• Be an effective leader – lead by example
• Distribute customer leads amongst the sales team
• Guide customers through the entire sales process from initial contact to delivery and post follow-up. Conduct test drives and demonstrate the vehicle capabilities, negotiate prices and terms to close the sale whilst maintaining profitability for the dealership. Assist with financing options and explain the warranty and service plans. Complete all necessary paperwork with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure the sales team provide exceptional customer service to drive sales and retention.
• Adhere to and enforce our dealership and manufacturer policies.
• Effectively managing customer enquiries, follow-ups and addressing any concerns.
