Job Description - Account Manager

We're looking for an Account Manager to join a leading provider of managed IT services who are dedicated to delivering exceptional technology solutions to our clients.

They pride themselves on fostering strong client relationships, driving innovation, and achieving tangible results.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented and driven IT Account Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about account management and sales, with a strong technical aptitude and a genuine desire to prioritise customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, building and nurturing relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities within the existing client base, while also assisting in identifying future technology requirements.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency in understanding and articulating our managed IT services offerings to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and resolution of client issues.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to provide strategic guidance to clients and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in account management and sales, preferably within the IT industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Technical competency and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving customer outcomes.
  • Previous experience in managed services or a related field is highly desirable.
  • A passion for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities is a definite plus.


Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary starting at $100,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
  • Additional commission structure based on performance.
