The Opportunity
The Portfolio Reporting Analyst will work closely with the Senior Portfolio Systems Analyst to develop and support the Department’s project management system and reporting platforms.


The role will lead system enhancements and improvements and the development of business intelligence capabilities to meet reporting requirements.


The role will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining data for a range of transport and infrastructure projects managed across the Department and will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to be responsible for improving improve the quality, relevance and consistency of data based on a clear understanding of customer and stakeholder needs.


To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to work effectively in a team environment, have well developed relationship building skills as well as good verbal and written skills. You will need to be able to work to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment.



Requirements
A degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Data Analytics or Commerce is desirable.
A degree or equivalent experience in Project Management is desirable.



Special Conditions
The successful candidate will be required to provide a National Police Check (NPC) prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.


Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.



Remuneration
ASO6 - $97,022 to $102,626 per annum
