Associate engineer

This possible will suit someone who has a keen interest in being a business leader in the engineering consultancy space. The firm is a medium sized consultancy based in Sydney. Requirements:

• Strong technical skills
• Membership with Engineers Australia as CPEng and NER
• Established experience in the Façade space
• Structural Engineering background
• Ability to autonomously work across own projects
• Strong client management/stakeholder engagement skills
• Have previously managed / enjoys managing and mentoring junior staff
• Good understanding of risk and risk management
• Driven to continually improve yourself and the business
• Full Australian Working Rights
  

Responsibilities:

• Prepare fee proposals
• Manage internal project budgets
• Hire, mentor and develop junior staff
• Client management and development
• Performance specification
• New build façade design
• Building waterproofing
• Peer review of sub-contractor designs
