Credit Risk Analyst/Manager

The Role

As the Wholesale Credit Risk Manager, you will play a key role in managing and monitoring the wholesale credit portfolio for the business, covering their policies and procedures and assessing the portfolio health.

The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

· Working with various business units to assess the credit worthiness on client proposals.

· Conducting risk assessments on relevant policies and procedures across the wholesale risk portfolio.

· Regular portfolio monitoring and health checks.

· Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry best practice

· Working closely with senior management to advise on risks and obligations.

· Liaising with executives and broader business to deliver regular management reporting on identified issues.

· Ad-hoc duties as required.

Your Profile

The successful candidate will have:

· Bachelor's degree or related tertiary qualifications.

· Prior experience in a Credit Risk position within the financial services sector. Preference for candidates who have held a Lending Authority

· Experience in consumer or wholesale lending sector would be highly regarded.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to foster strong business partnerships with senior stakeholders.
