What we're looking for:

We are seeking a compassionate individual to join our team, ready to take on the challenge of treating clients with diverse conditions and health issues, predominantly working in a Community and Residential Aged Care environment and primarily supporting an aged population of clients.There is potential growth for the right candidate to also support in our recreation programs.

The role is permanent full time and may involve travel across Illawarra and South Coast.

As an Exercise Physiologist at SAVVY, you will:

• Conduct assessments and develop individually tailored exercise plans for managing chronic health conditions while tracking their progress towards their goals.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based clinical services in consultation with clients.
• Monitor clients' progress, make adjustments to programs as needed, and provide motivation and support to help them achieve their goals.
• Provide ongoing supervision and guidance to clients during exercise sessions, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Engage proactively with clients, carers, and stakeholders to foster a positive environment.
• Collaborate and share knowledge within the team to build overall skills.
• Have flexibility to deliver treatments outside standard business hours if required and across various locations in the Illawarra and South Coast.

About you:

• We are looking for someone with a blend of skills and experiences, including:
• Fully qualified Exercise Physiologist with experience across different age groups and abilities.
• Full registration with ESSA, SIRA, and PRODA, with current professional insurances.
• Ability to build strong patient relationships and work both autonomously and within a team.
• Caring nature and dedication to patient well-being and their fitness journey.

We require candidates to hold a valid NSW Drivers Licence and have access to an insured vehicle, possess a current Working With Children Check, have received three doses of COVID-19 vaccination and be willing to get their annual Flu vaccination. We also require successful candidates to be willing to undertake a National Police History check, and have a valid Right to Work status in Australia.
