Corporate Applications Functional Lead
Full-Time, Ongoing position
Cabrini Hawthorn Office & WFH – hybrid model

About the role
The Corporate Applications Functional Lead provides guidance and support to corporate Functional leads and end users using various applications across Cabrini’s multiple locations. The role requires in-depth analysis of workflows and data, and collaboratively working with other team members and business stakeholders in improving applications. The improvements may involve data updates, configuration changes, patching or upgrades.


As a pivotal contributor to the digital strategy the individual will maintain expertise in all aspects of corporate applications in sustaining and improving functionality used by Cabrini staff.


The role provides an opportunity for a corporate applications trained person to lead a small team of functional specials in a fast paced, challenging and rewarding environment where they will use their leadership, organisational, workflow and IT systems knowledge in improving applications.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage corporate applications team.

Ensure corporate applications systems are being utilised by staff to the full potential.

Provide guidance and knowledge of issues to team and end users.

Liaise with software vendors on a regular basis.

Liaise with management and key stakeholders on current process changes and project work with IT.

About you
You will be a motivated individual with a minimum of three (3) years of Team Lead / Management experience and experience with HR/Payroll/AP application experience.


You will also have the ability to build relationships with a range of health professionals and health service staff, sound written and verbal communication skills, past management experience of a team and proven ability to interact with medical and nursing staff.


You will also have:

Previous experience in Workday HR system (is preferred).

Previous experience using Kronos or other Time and Attendance system (is preferred).

Previous experience using Chris21 Payroll system (is preferred).

Previous experience using JD Edwards AP system (is preferred).

Ability to allocate timeframes, manage team’s deliverables in meeting agreed timelines.

Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to probe for information about underlying needs of the organization and user community.

Strong attention to detail.

Demonstrated willingness to address issues and take ownership, knowing when and how to escalate issues.

Sound prioritising and organisational skills.

Knowledge of relevant legislation relating to medications management.

Well-developed computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
