Overview: In this role, you'll spearhead the design, implementation, and maintenance of integrations crucial to our business operations. Your expertise will ensure seamless connectivity across platforms, particularly with our student management system.

Key Relationships: Collaborate closely with technical leads, team leaders, and other key stakeholders, including the Global Head of Product Engineering. Together, we'll achieve greatness!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and document software solutions in adherence to established standards.
• Utilize your database expertise to safeguard data integrity and accessibility.
• Translate digital concepts into compelling visuals and maintain a keen eye on service level agreements.
• Cultivate relationships across teams and uphold effective communication practices.

Qualifications and Criteria:

• Experience with application development using Typescript, NodeJs, PHP, and/or Python.
• Experience using containers/serverless functions.
• Knowledge of integration concepts and patterns (e.g., XML schemas, SOAP, WS specifications).
• Understanding of object-oriented languages and paradigms.
• Knowledge of SQL and other server-side languages.
• Experience with Integration, API management/Gateway, and microservices patterns.
• Knowledge of Data Management concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to readily grasp complex architectural environments.
• Knowledge of software development principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Meticulous in design processes, including self-testing, technical, and user documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to self-determine workload within a project management framework.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with integration systems.
• Experience with data streaming (e.g., Apache Kafka).
• Able to characterize, analyze, and fine-tune software to deliver optimal performance.
• Experience administering, configuring, and managing large-scale databases.
• Experience managing and operating on cloud infrastructure.
• Involved in security architecture planning, research, design, implementation, and testing.
• Exposure to code workflows such as GitFlow.
• Experience working in an Agile environment, with processes such as Scrum and Kanban and products such as Jira and Confluence.
