About

We're looking for an experienced and talented Interior Designer to join our Melbourne studio in a role that will see you work across a range of exciting projects, including retail, mixed-use developments, hotel and hospitality.
THE ROLE:You will be responsible for the design outcomes in collaboration with the Project Principal and meeting the project brief.
Providing the link between the Client and ‘Buchan’, you will work with your team to deliver outcomes and are accountable for the execution of all aspects and delivery of the project program, budget, design quality, staff engagement and client engagement.ABOUT YOU:The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on the client brief. The candidate should possess strong communication skills and be able to adjust a given approach based on client feedback.You will be able to work stand-alone as well as part of a larger project team and possess minimum of 3 (three) years post-graduate experience in a similar role within the Built Environment.You will possess strong Revit capabilities and experience and the ability to prioritise tasks.Experience;

• Have at least one of the following, Interior Design Bachelor Degree, Industrial Design Bachelor Degree, Associate Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration, or Architectural Graduate Degree
  
• 3+ years’ working on large, complex projects within interior design or an equivalent role
  
• Large scale commercial, multi-residential and hospitality project experience
  
• Skilled in developing client networks and relationships
  

Skills/Knowledge;

• Proven design and delivery skills.
  
• Project Management skills.
  
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  
• Skilled in Revit/BIM and Sketch-up.
  
• Has an in-depth understanding of Adobe design suite
  
• Advanced Microsoft level.
