IT Consultant

Summary:

The IT Consultant will work with clients to identify their IT needs and design and implement technical solutions. They will provide technical advice, support, and training to clients and collaborate with other consultants to deliver high-quality services.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to determine their IT needs and identify appropriate solutions
• Design and implement IT solutions for clients that meet their business requirements
• Provide technical advice, support and training to clients on the use of computer hardware and software
• Develop project plans, milestones, and deliverables, and manage project timelines and resources
• Conduct research and analysis to stay current with emerging technologies and trends
• Collaborate with other consultants and team members to provide high-quality services in a timely manner
• Provide pre-sales support to the sales team as required
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Ensure all projects are delivered according to scope, budget, and timeline
• Document and maintain project documentation and deliverables
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in IT consulting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware and software
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies
• Familiarity with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics is an added advantage
