Hays is currently working with a state government entity seeking an IT Project Officer for an MS Dynamics 365 implementation project.
Your new role
As an IT Project Officer, you will be instrumental in the implementation of our new Core System. Your role will involve:
System Implementation: You will document and review current business processes, identify and document new processes, and liaise with subject-matter experts to design, develop, and test these processes. Collaborating with the project team, you will configure, test, document, and implement these processes in the Core System. Additionally, you'll assist with customisations and use 'no-code' or 'low-code' techniques to create city-specific functions.
Project Management and Reporting: You will undertake various project tasks, attend and contribute to meetings and workshops, and capture data for project management reporting. Your role will also include assisting with project delivery through analysis, testing, training document generation, and user training. You will act as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the decision-making process.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Stakeholder Engagement: Strong skills in working closely with both Change Management Leads and project teams to understand and implement transition requirements. You will facilitate communication between IT and business units, engage stakeholders to support change, and provide regular updates and support.
Education and Support: A commitment to undertake technical training and the ability to design and deliver educational programs for employees. You will consult and coach staff on new processes and provide support to ensure the integration of improvement activities.
Process Improvement: Experience of developing and improving protocols, processes, and guidelines. You will contribute to organisational change management initiatives and support the business unit in the planning and implementation of technology changes.
