A leading State Government department is looking to engage a skilled Lead .NET Developer to join a highly capable team. In this you will be a part of a major program to deliver the Payroll Systems modernisation. The successful Lead .NET Developer will be offered a 12 month contract with 1 x 6 month extensions!

The successfulLead .NET Developerwill be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Work as part of a small development team and provide leadership and guidance on software development.
• Develop new solution using Microsoft Technologies to replace legacy VB6 application.
• Responsible for the development of detail design documentation.
• Ensure that the new solution utilises industry best practice and patterns.

The successful Lead .NET Developer will have experience in the following:

• Strong experience in Microsoft Technologies such as VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net, JavaScript.
• Exposure in the development of Web Services/API.
• Experience in CI/CD and Development of Pipelines in MS DevOps is highly desirable.
• Understanding of business requirements using User Stories, Business Process Maps, Use Case, and Requirements.
• Strong proficiency in VB6.
