HEO6, Learning, Enhancement and Innovation (HEO6) $86,360 - $93,285 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies. Part time (0.6 FTE) continuing position. Join the LEI team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of online education across the University of Adelaide, using a wide range of technologies and innovative practices. The Learning Resource Developer designs and produces multimedia learning resources using a variety of graphic design, animation, scenario-creation and educational technologies. The Learning Resource Developer will work on several simultaneous projects requiring working with academics, students, and team members within tight production schedules. Working closely with LEI teams, the Learning Resource Developer is also responsible for supporting other roles across the Unit to sustain, maintain, and deliver courses developed within the LMS, including the collation of demonstration and exemplar learning resources and activities. The Learning Resource Developer works collaboratively, taking an agile and iterative approach within tight project schedules, to deliver excellent student learning experiences. To be successful you will need:
  • Experience in designing digital learning resources.
  • Excellent knowledge of graphic design principles and software packages.
  • Excellent knowledge in web design tools, media, and animation tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a collaborative team environment and independently, develop productive relationships quickly, and sustain a client service orientation.
  • Demonstrated life-long learning orientation and ability to work proactively within a University environment.
  • Experience in visual design skills with experience in user interface design/ user-system interaction.
  • Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, the implementation of equity principles, workplace health and safety principles, accessibility, and copyright.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.
