We're on the hunt for a Media Director who is a strong strategic thinker with a keen understanding of the ever changing landscape of media and is passionate about great leadership.

In this senior role, based in our Newcastle office, you’ll own the day to day of your team ensuring high quality and timely outputs, providing support and guidance. You’ll lead all work from campaign development through to execution ensuring all work is done through an innovative lens.

Details:

• Inspire and motivate your immediate and the broader team, with sound knowledge and guidance on responding to various, adverse occurrences throughout the general operation of the team.
• Ensure the team understand their role and responsibilities, by giving clear direction and setting expectations.
• Lead the development of your team by setting goals that will develop our people and our business.
• Oversee the end-to-end execution of digital and traditional campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the agreed-upon strategy.
• Work hand in hand with our Creative Lead ensuring throughout campaign development process that the media team deliver work in a timely and effective manner.
• Lead innovation and ensure innovation is present in all recommendations by your team.
• Quality control on all outputs from the team including media owner briefs, channel presentations, media plans, deal tracking and monthly forecasting.
• Identify opportunities for organic growth by understanding our clients evolving needs.
• Actively participate in new business pitches and proposal

About you:

• 8 - 10+ years of media experience.
• A high level of digital experience, both strategic and platform including but not limited to paid search, programmatic, and social media.
• High levels of energy that helps cultivate a positive social and high-performing culture.
• A leader rather than manager, with the ability to switch between the two depending on the situation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions to meet client objectives and drive business results.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices across all media channels. Share knowledge and insights with internal teams and clients to drive innovation and continuous improvement across all aspects of account management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and growing client accounts, driving revenue growth, and exceeding performance targets.
