Principal Web Developer , Premier and Cabinet

As the Principal Web Developer, you will be at the forefront of modernizing and delivering sustainable digital government products and services used by Queenslanders throughout the state. A confident self-starter, you will lead the technical development and implementation of digital solutions that support the department's and whole of government priority activities. Your responsibilities will include managing coding standards, enhancing the development environment, and implementing best practice. You will also play a key role in designing, creating, and enhancing complex digital solutions to achieve business objectives. Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work closely with account managers, clients, and team members to develop visually appealing and functional online capability including websites that provide seamless user experiences and are accessible across all devices. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a collaborative and productive team environment, contributing positively to our team culture. You will ensure compliance with whole of government ICT policies and standards, including:
• Queensland Government design system.
• Information Security Policy (IS18).
• Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
