They have designed and developed some award-winning products during this time which is now serve as the foundation to further propel our global expansion and accelerated growth.

Role

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accountant at Genea Biomedx. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial tasks, including preparing and analysing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is located in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility for some remote work.

• We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to work on a full-time basis at our Sydney office, (Hybrid (office and home) working arrangement available.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and handle end-of-month financial reporting:
• You will experience in:

o in compiling accounting schedules and update operational reports.

o preparing consolidation schedules and aid in group financial consolidation reporting.

o Creating aging reports and perform bank reconciliations and

o Producing management reports and annual accounts for parent companies.

• Your role will provide assistance during interim review and annual audits from external auditors.
• Generate tax computations and support profit tax filing and GST/VAT procedures and reporting.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects to improve operating efficiency.

Qualifications

You will have a

• a bachelor de gree/ diploma in accounting/finance/ economics or related.(CPA preferred)
• Preferably with 3-5 years of relevant working experience in accounting field or audit with MNC experience.
• International experience would be desirable.
• Experience with accounting software Syteline, or ERP (Odoo) preferable.
• Exhibits proactive behavior towards potential problems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexible, hand-on, detail-oriented candidate.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
