Scrum Master I 6 months contract I Office is based in Melbourne CBD I Hybrid work model being 3-5days/week in Your new company
The Scrum Master will Scrum master will coordinate 2 teams of engineers (10 in each team)You'll enable the team success through servant leadership, leading rituals, removing impediments, and orchestrating an agile culture in the team. You will also support the team internally by coaching agile and lean values, principles, and practices, and externally by protecting the team from the external interruptions. It also manages the team skills and raise request for upskill or more resources as necessary



Your new role
RESPONSIBILITIES• Master the process and facilitate agile team events• Proactively mitigate/remove impediments and dependencies• Coach PO to continually groom, articulate, and priorities the backlog• Coach team to use product management techniques• Ensure team understands the product backlog• Visualize all work , Measure and optimize flow• Guide team on build in quality practices• Create culture continuous learning and improvement• Foster, support agile team attributes such as psychological safety, transparency, collaboration and resolve team conflicts• Develop team skillsets through T-shaped individuals to reduce dependencies (for SE, SW and IVV work)• Report through engineering data• Burndown chart, velocity, predictability• Visibility on team contribution to the SOS expected deliveries• Ensure JIRA is updated• Validate leaves for the squad• Ensure hours are logged for capitalisation• Is part of the performance assessment of the squad

What you'll need to succeed
Experience working in Defence or Aviation industry
Experience in SAFe environmentExperience in Software Engineering environment.Experience in CI/CD experience is mandatoryExperience in V model software managementPreference will be for candidates with knowledge of ATC
