Senior Management Accountant

The Opportunity

• The Senior Management Accountant will work closely with finance and commercial teams to build relationships and cross departmental collaboration to deliver financially accurate and prompt data and reporting to add value and support business decision makers. Key responsibilities will include:
• Partner with the business and provide effective planning, analysis and advice on all financial aspects
• Preparation of management reporting including analysis
• Responsible for delivery of commentary and analysis of actual performance against internal benchmarks
• Develop business understanding and prepare financial models with other Finance Business Partners to measure business and financial KPIs.
• Provide key support to Commercial and Finance business leaders in decision making.
• Support annual budgets and monthly forecasting including variance analysis
• Work closely with System Support Team to drive and implement BI and associated system improvements including testing

The Candidate

To be successful in this position, you will possess:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and ideally hold a CA/CPA qualification
• Experience in business partnering, reporting and analysis
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen to assess data and arrive at root cause, with ability to explain key drivers to senior audience
• Strong experience with Excel and experience with PowerBI or another system
• Ability to foster strong business relationships and communicate well
