About the Centre
Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre (GRAC) is a brand new recreation centre, which opened in March 2021. This state-of-the-art aquatic centre offers fantastic facilities including a variety of pools. The gym is fully-equipped with modern and functional workout equipment, we offer a variety of group fitness classes each week via our timetable, as well as personal training sessions. We also run school programs and activities for children, including swimming lessons and AquaPlay (an indoor aquatic play area).
About the role
As a Swim Teacher at GRAC, you will be developing and delivering lesson plans that promote swimming skill building in school aged children, combining stroke development with water safety and enhancing the overall confidence and ability of your students.
This is a Casual role with an hourly rate starting at $31.13 + super.
About you
You will be passionate about inspiring and developing water safety and swimming skills in children and young people. Experience in other teaching or coaching roles is a bonus but not necessary. Personal attributes such as patience, respect, and enthusiasm will take you far as a Swim Teacher!
In this role you will unlock the power of all children to be inspired by swimming, creating lifelong opportunities.
