About the role:
The Prison and Parole Intelligence Unit (PPIU) provides a central conduit for the flow of prison and parole related intelligence between Victoria Police and external stakeholders including Corrections Victoria and the Adult Parole Board. Effective intelligence sharing between agencies enhances community safety and ensures the security and good order of all correctional facilities (including adult and youth facilities) throughout Victoria. Additionally, the unit provides prison and parole related subject matter expertise and advice to Victoria Police personnel to assist with investigations.
As a Team Leader - Senior Analyst within the PPIU, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of six VPS3 Intelligence Analysts in support of the unit's functions. Reporting to the Senior Sergeant, you will operate as key member of the leadership team while providing leadership, mentoring and support to the unit's analysts.
