We strive to hire talent that demonstrates our beliefs and our competencies. POSITION OVERVIEW The role of a cleaner is to ensure that all the areas assigned for cleaning are kept clean and hygienic. Cleaners need to be familiar with all the applicable standards of safety and hygiene, use the appropriate cleaning equipment, safely handle and store chemical substances and cleaning products, use personal protective equipment where necessary (e.g. gloves, safety glasses or a face mask) and know how to properly dispose of waste. PRIMARY DUTIES Report directly to the Maintenance Team CoordinatorSweeping, mopping and vacuuming floorsCleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens and other public areaRemoving old food from communal fridges or cupboards and disposing of wasteEmptying the rubbishSafely diluting industrial cleaning chemicals and using them at appropriate levelsRefilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (Hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels)Maintaining cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessaryConducting monthly disinfection and deep cleaning MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 1 year experience as a cleanerOrganized and hard workingFriendly and approachableWork well under pressureAbility to Multi TaskWork well in a team as well as on your own H.B.
