Job Description - Admin Traineeship: Customer Experience

Position Description

Career Employment Group Inc is seeking applications for a full time Administration Trainee to work with our valued Host Employer in Port Lincoln.


As part of this opportunity, you will undertake a Certificate III in Business, where you will learn a range of administrative and clerical skills to work effectively in a local government, business environment.


Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People are encouraged to apply for this position.


As an Administration Trainee, you will learn a range of functions to ensure administration activities within the local government department of Customer Experience run smoothly. You may also complete the following tasks:



  • Open and close front-counter on time

  • Maintain records and organise workplace information

  • Complete bank-run daily and balance front counter till

  • Facilitate over the counter and over the phone payments and registrations

  • Input community reports into software

  • Deliver helpful customer service and contribute to effective workplace relationships



Position Requirements



  • Hold a current driver’s licence (desirable)

  • Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical, inclusive of drug and alcohol testing

  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills

  • Be punctual and have a good work ethic
